This video explains the procedures and purposes of a new piece of equipment from Cortical Metrics, which is used to measure a person’s allostatic stress level. This allows us to see the well-being of one’s cognitive function, tone, and total allostatic load (the wear and tear on the body). As stress is capable of inducing disease, the measurements of this equipment are important in helping us prevent it. By helping us see where one’s brain needs the most support, we are then able to fix any weaknesses in one’s system. The device uses eight tests which correlate to different parts and functions of the brain, allowing us to measure the nervous system in detail. If you want to know how this device can analyze your overall brain health, watch the video to find out more.
